Default Measurements anyone? intercooler in/out, turbo out...

I figure someone here knows this crap off the top of their head...(Buying some new silicone hose to go with some new-to-me intercooler pipes and dont have my car available to go check.)

Intercooler Inlet/Oulet Size

Throttle body inlet size

Turbo (K26/6) Outlet Size

Is most everyone running 3" connector hose? Thats what I was leaning towards...thanks in advance!

Actually, the intercooler inlet and outlet are both 2-3/8" diameter. The throttle body and turbo diameters are correct.

My memory must be fading, they say it happens as we age, wait what was I saying ???? Oh yea, always remove the fill plug first, before draining the tranny

Get the two good turbocharger books on the market:

Turbochargers - McInnes
MaximumBoost - Corky Bell

They explain all the various measurements. Each manufacturer has a different way of naming their housings, so just use the actual measurements. And "trim" is a bizarre number. It's actually a ratio of two measurements squared.

Depends on you intercooler pipe size.

My pipes are 2.5" and I was able to make a 2.5" hose stretch over the 2.75" TB and work nicely.

so In theory If they dont make the exact sizes I need I could get 2.25" straight hose to fit from my intercooler pipes over the 2 3/8 in/out intercooler sizes.

I guess I will look for a 2.5" to a 2.25" for the TB then as they dont make that size either, thanks guys!!
