Who are the go-to vendors for 951s?
Now that I've decided to "jump in the deep end" as another poster said, I was hoping for some direction on which vendors have the good stuff for 944/951's. I'll be restoring the whole thing, so most things aren't off the table. So far I've come up with:
Pelican Parts (Pelican Parts) for general stuff
Lindsey Racing (Lindsey Racing) for performance engine parts
Classic 9 Leather (Classic 9) for interior parts
Things I'll be interested in later will be potentially retrofitting ABS, suspension upgrades, brake upgrades, wheels, perhaps Euro bumpers, etc. My goals are to be as much of a bullet proof daily driver as possible, but with more than 300+ rwhp. Also to look very stock (even under the hood), and to use OE Parts where I can. For instance, if I'm going to do a brake upgrade, do it with Porsche parts vs. a 3rd party, etc.
Who else should I be stalking? Thanks for any links or hints!

FCP Euro or ECS Tuning for general stuff.
ECS owns Pelican (?), but ECS prices seem to be better.
Sometimes Aoutohaus AZ.
Paragon Products for some performance stuff
Racer's Edge for some...
Ground Control makes some really nice BMW suspension stuff, but I don't know much about their 944 stuff.

I've largely restored my 951 myself. Numerous albums with pictures in my Profile Page. Here's my (partial) list of go-to people and what I've gotten from them and sites:
944online - Transmission rebuild with new ring and pinion, various kits (water pump, seals, etc.). Help getting parts replated. Excellent experience.
Lindsay Racing - Head and turbo rebuild. Ceramic coated SS header. 3" Exhaust. Silicon hoses. Engine harness. Generally happy... but would get a Kroon harness if I did it again and probably talk to Cantellis or Evergreen for the turbo.
Classic 9 Leather - Dash recover kit. I'd love to have them do the rest of my interior... but I had other funding priorities.
Only944 - Seat covers because I didn't want to pay for Classic 9 and new shift boot cover (that one is great).
Pelican - Lots of stuff. Big selection and good tutorials for all sorts of maintenance tasks... but not the cheapest by any stretch.
Black Sea R&D - all things Torque Tube. Absolutely fantastic.
FCP Euro - good prices.
Sunsetporsche - Really good prices on original Porsche parts. Got _new_ rear phonedials and my flywheel from them (by way of Germany). Plus some other stuff.
Clarkes Garage - no parts... but tons of essential information.
Speedforce Racing. Turbo downtube.
Stock Interiors - Replacement carpet.
Paragon - always check what their price is. Various items from them.
Amazon - My clutch, actually. Direct from Sachs. Also my rebuilt Bosche alternator, I think?
And... Rennlist. Hugely, hugely helpful. And get a pdf copy of the Porsche 944 parts catalog. And the Shop Manual. Both are available on the Web if you dig a bit.
Others out there that people swear by... but that's my list. I think. I'm losing track these days and I try not to look at my book of receipts.

Nice, comprehensive list!
A word of caution about ebay and Amazon though...
Beware of counterfeit parts.
There are knockoffs of almost EVERYTHING.
Was looking for some VW 1.8T hydraulic lifters. There are 20 of 'em, and they $$ add up.
Found some "Genuine VW' on ebay, for about 1/2 what everyone else had.
With free shipping from China....

Good points on Amazon and eBay. Always check where stuff is shipping from if you are looking for OEM parts. And vendor ratings. 500 positive reviews all in a two-day window is usually not a good sign.
In the case of my clutch... Sachs has a storefront on Amazon... so I wasn't too worried about counterfeits.
I should have included Lart on ebay. He's a well-known and trusted vendor of used parts for 944s with a big e-bay presence. I've only used him a bit... but had a good experience. I figure he's part of the reason 944's have been going up in value (since he has, it seems, been almost singularly responsible for declining numbers!)

Actually, it's Catellus Engineering, Inc. in Stow, MA. Kevin Gross is the owner. My 968 trans is there now...
Karl at Racer's Edge is knowledgeable and provides excellent service. I've gotten lots of suspension goodies from RE.
