Feedback on Lindsey Fuel Rail and SS lines
I'm considering the Lindsey fuel rail. It's been on the market for a few months. I'd like to hear from those who have bought it. Are you still satisfied?. How was the install?

If you buy it make sure you get the damper an fuel pressure regulator..I don't think it's a crucial part, that would increse performance but it's a very good unit!!!I am looking at in in the future..far future after their intake mainfold....I would get the SS lines regardelss..good thing to have!!

The kits are great. There was a slight noise issue with the first ones - the teflon lines brought out a slight ticking noise in the hard lines from the fuel pump. Dave sent out a short rubber hose for free that solved 95% of that. Lindsey has since switched to a rubber based internal hose(you can still get the teflon) with the same type of fittings. The hose is cheaper but the fittings are more, so it was a give and take so the price remains the same. I kept mine stock color, jwl, with his red car and all the polished pcs he had, had his polished and powder coated clear - looks great!

Just bumping this thread up to see if everyone w/ the rail/lines are still satisfied. I noticed my garbage aeroquip lines developed a leak so it's time to replace.

I think from a safety perspective the Lindsey rail works well. However I would say it had an unacceptable noise level for a street car. I also had to wait a couple of months for Lindsey racing to sort out a replacement Fuel Dampener when the supplied Marren unit went bad. They claimed it was a Marren supply problem, and Lindsey Racing didn't have an extra one in stock to replace mine.

I've had mine for a while HERE
It works really well, and really does run very cold to the touch.
I've got a very loud injector pulse noise that resonates throughout the car at the moment, but that's because I'm running teflon aeroquip throughout.
Dave sent me a couple of short rubber pipes FOC HERE but I've not got around to fitting them. I may just change the aeroquip type to solve the problem without resorting to additional pipe sections.
I rate it.

UUUH yeah. That marren guy is a bit of a clown. Been to his shop a bunch of times. Now I know better. EVERY single thing I bought from him broke.
He says - "I worked for March", blah, blah, blah. They fired his ***, I am sure for being a retard.

hey guys, sorry to dig up an old thread but this was the closest i've been able to find regarding fuel rails.
it seems my stock fuel rail has developed a leak somewhere around the front mounting bracket. since everyone seems to be against any sort of repair on the fuel rail, i'm assuming the best option is to replace it.
questions:
1) is the sfr fuel rail on the market yet? i haven't been able to find it on their site.
2) is the lindsey fuel rail the only other option currently available?
3) is there a source for used stock fuel rails? $600 for a new stock one from porsche seems rather pricey.
thanks.
