Default Honing Block and stock rings?

If I get a block with 130k on it (thanks Michelle!) honed can I use new stock sized rings? Or do I need a different size? The cylinder walls look fine but I just want to clean them up a bit. Thanks

Measure the bores. Follow the factory recommended piston-to-wall clearance so you can determine the piston/ring you can use. You might need to take the block to a machinist if you do not have a bore-gauge.

Yeah I just was told by a good friend that I can't hone it unless I re-alusil coat the cylinders to use with the stock pistons and rings. I intend to use the stock pistons and rings so I guess I am just going to have it checked out and rering it. Thanks
