Hi Guys-
I've started making new software for datalogging with the AFMLink in VB6. I have attached what I have so far...
What kind of features should be in a new version of the software?
ie. Make all zones 100,105, etc.
AFMLink v3.1a
Software in progress...

(I know anything would be an improvement but I have only been using the software for about three hours and haven't run into all the shortcomings that you others have.)

I use the Link software with the Link Plus, its awesome, I guess its different for AFM users. Go get the Link software used in the standalones and get some ideas off there...

Great initiative!!
Other nice features to have:
* For those who hook up a wb02 to the AFM input - automatically convert the input values to A/F-ratios.
* Charts with RPM, boost and A/F.
Then we could build in an online tuning guide warning for high boost cells with lean A/F-ratios etc![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Good luck and keep us updated!

Good work! ![bigbye](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/xyxwave.gif)
Have you guys seen this new template that Jake951 came up with?
SerialLinkGraphTemplate2.xls
Converts the COMlink zones into the TuningModule zones as well as manifold-pressure KPa into vacuum/boost.

I'd love to see a ComLink replacement that did the zone conversion, MAP pressure to vacuum and boost, etc... as well. It would also be nice to have some options for file output - for example an output that is comma delimited and doesn't contain header rows so you can import to excel a little more cleanly.

Chris, you can confirm the WB02 input with a voltmeter at the same time. I suspect that your calculations are correct. If we span 0-5v across an 8-bit number, we get a 2X multipiier = 510. Maybe subtract 10 before you divide by 100. But we'll have to confirm with a voltmeter to know for sure.

Pretty close for being heavily drugged.

I also plan to see if I can capture the tunng module's signals to the PC, allowing me to integrate the power to change settings in the AFMLink without the need of the programming module. But that is a bit more risky than just plain datalogging.
