Default The Legend Greg Brown

Today I had a great time talking to the 928 Sensei the Legend Greg Brown from precision motorwerks, among all the 928's & 911's at his shop I was able to look at his two most precious jewels his 944 Turbo GTR and his 924 Carrera GT, oh boy. One thing that we shared in common with Greg when it comes to 928's reliability is the fact that 85% of all 928's ever produced still on the road ........................................................................ ....the rest made it home. Ok is a joke don't let Gretch ban me. Btw I have met Greg over 10 years ago when I took a transmission for David McGrath (evil944) to Greg for rebuilt.

Greg is a class act and put in tons of time in support of the 000 article we did on that car, not to mention the megatons of time he spent making it look that way. I've had the pleasure of talking to a lot of "in-the-know" Porsche guys writing various articles, and Greg's depth of knowledge, skill, freakishly good memory, and enthusiasm really make him really stand out. He's a "928 guy" that knows more about the 944 than most 944 'experts' by the way.

Greg rebuilt my 1973 911 in 1980

Great guy, great shop, great overall experience.

Sold it to buy a new 1983 SC.

Sepia Brown car drove amazing.

One of many I miss.

That car is just amazing! One of the coolest cars out there. Only questionmark is why a sunroof car was choosen as basecar?
