Default Adding a pin to instrument cluster harness...

Does anyone know what pin / where to buy or how to find out what pin I would need to add a pin to an existing harness? I want to add a pin to the "A" plug for the instrument cluster. Is that something I could buy from an electrical store / online computer place or?

Or if anyone has a junk harness I could steal a pin from that would work as well. 86 car, late cluster, grounding pin 15 on plug A. Id just like to do it the correct way vs shoving a bare wire into the harness.

Thanks!
Sam

I’ve purschsed terminals from Eagleday in the past, they seem to have a good selection of electrical items that Porsche used.

I have a huge collection of terminals at the shop and would be happy to mail you one.. just need a couple photos and ideally a measurement.

Porsche PET may be your friend. There are diagrams/drawings of the different wiring harness connectors and pins in the sheets.

Just a heads up, I picked up one of these recently if you need it to pull a pin from the old harness.

^ thanks - I added that to the cart, I have a de-pinning tool but its not great / more limited but I was able to successfully de-pin the plug and add a pin to my harness, all re-installed and good to go!
