Default DME Connector pin source

I been looking for DME connector pins (the ones on the harness that connect to the DME/KLR), but I can't seem to find a source for them. They don't look like the connectors used on the Bosch terminals for the injectors, TPS, etc. I usually buy the Bosch terminals/wires from www.kayjayco.com , but I can't get an email reply from that company on DME pins.

Thanks,

Are you looking for the actual pins or the whole connector?

...just the pins. I want to rebuild the harness using upgraded wires and connectors.

KayJayCo is who you want. The DME/KLR pins are standard Junior Power Timer pins, same as used in the fuel injector connectors and all over the place.

Eagleday is WAY overpriced.

Thanks, kayjayco is in the "neighborhood" and convenient. I'll inquire further about JPT pins as you suggested. I'd like to fully rebuild the entire harness with modern high quality wires and connectors, the only thing holding me back was a source for the pins on the DME side.

951Doc,
Re: DME Plug pins.
How have you been? How did your DME pin repair go?
#19 on Plug has been arcing and is shot; have to source new female "pin" to replace one that is burned up in the DME harness connector.
#19 is a ground for the DME and connects to MP Vlll at rear of Engine near bell housing. Believe that ground is how the DME controls the spark timing (ground to prevent spark). What were your problems with the DME Harness.

John had a GB of pins and connectors awhile ago. Might want to give him a PM.

DME rebuild went fine, thousands of miles on the car with no problems. Wire, connectors and pins sourced from KAYJAYCO.

Hi there, I wanted to revive the thread, are the DME pins the same on all Porsches e.g. 996 / 997?
