The Case of the Free 951
Gentleman (Ladies?),
As much as I would like to keep my 951 unfortunately timing isn't on my side and I need to move the car off the property it has been stored upon as quickly as possible due to the sale of the property. I would love to be able to keep and restore, but I just don't have the space.
With that said:I have a 951 to giveaway for free (or a $1 for the BoS). It is located in Escondido, CA (North San Diego County). The P-car is not in running condition and should be considered a project. You will need to flat bed (with winch) the car off the property. I can offer you a DMV Reg 135 Bill of Sale (for free or $1 ;->), I can also offer you records going back through my ownership of 25 years.
The good is that the engine was rebuilt by Mark Kinninger at Black Forest in San Diego. The car saw almost no mileage after rebuild. The oil pan is baffled. The car has sport seats, though they will need restoring. It has a genuine 968 rear glass and spoiler. It also has a 930S steering wheel that Porsche ordered and had made in Italy for me. The 951 also has what I believe are genuine Fuchs or good rip-offs ;->. The car is silver on black.
It will need a battery and new tires (they are currently inflated but have a post due date on them).
The car needs to be moved within a week and again is located in Escondido, CA which is in North San Diego County. I am not on the premises with the car. Please PM here for particulars.
Please let's keep any comments in line with giving the car to a worthy home and let's please keep away from anything irrelevant. No flakes, be serious and follow through if you want the car and remember that it's free, so room for complaining should be kept in your head . Thank you.

That looks like the nicest giveaway car I have ever seen. I hope karma comes back around and you are someday on the receiving end of a deal like this. Hope whoever gets it has it running again soon.

Thank you.
It appears that the car will be picked up this week by someone that contacted me yesterday. If that falls through for some reason I will contact the next person on the list.
Thank you to everyone that responded.
