Default Seeking replacement hardware
Hey folks, anyone know if these updated hardware kits are still available anywhere? The YouTube video link from the piece of paper in the first photo is still up. It's exactly what I need! Hunting everywhere for that cap nut but can't find it.... Thanks!

There is a group buy on the fb forums for tops that fit MANUAL roofs only.

Hi everyone, I was lucky to purchase an 87 944 with a Saratoga sunroof. The only issue was the seal was shot. Mine had a metal frame with a ripped felt and rubber seal. The metal frame was also damaged and thus I decided to remove the metal frame, felt and rubber. The good news is I cleaned it up and it looks great. The extremely unfortunate thing is I don’t have or know a way to seal it correctly. Not to mention the metal frame felt/rubber I removed were covering a fairly large gap around the sunroof.

Does anyone, especially @fejjj, have an idea of what the correct seal would be for my glass top that would fill the extremely large gap I currently have?

Thanks in advance for any comments / suggestions.

If your Top has a metal frame then it is the original Saratoga top and I do not know of any options for seal replacement.

Hey fejjj, thanks for the message. I’m interested in your glass top. I just want to make sure it’s fits tighter to the body than my original Saratoga top without the metal frame.
