I called this guy back in late 2002, when he had a pair of Koenig race seats advertised. He rambled at length about his magic brake fluid and rotor business, and how several pro teams considered it their 'secret weapon'. My BS meter was pegged throughout the conversation. Decided to go with my gut and avoid him. Sorry to hear that he is as bad as this thread suggests.

My Aussie convict heritage says that you could die waiting for the authorities in a case like this. Sounds like there is more than probable cause for a visit from the Rennforcers!

ok, Michael finally emailed me back. Informed me he sent the mirrors out, with a tracking number, but one needs a replacement adjustment piece of some sort, and he has one he is getting, and would send out next week (oh boy, heard that one before). He is still trying to figure out how to send the hatch, but said he would have the problem solved soon. I suggested he just take it to UPS and have them box and ship. Would hate for that to arrive broken.

I received an email from him with a tracking number this morning and I have received a reply to that email. It appears my handles will be leaving on Monday so I should be okay. Actually, a little better than okay because he left the locks and key in them and I didnt pay for them. I hope everyone else has this work out for them. Damn shame of it is, I would have bought the whole car if the price had been right, it is just what I had been looking for!

Are they off of a 944? If so, considering a sale?

I will be selling my Porsche script handles and probably put the 968 lock cylinders in them. Otherwise, I might split them.

Guys, I believe the Bloomington police officer that is on this case will be back from vacation on Monday, the 2nd. If you have any status updates I can have then I will give that to the cop. Once I get done with him I will look into the Postal Inspector so if you mailed him a check or used a US Postal Money order you will have another friend on your side in this mess.

emails and phone calls regarding my purchase have gone unreturned. I have an email specifically stating that my USPS MO was received and my 968 rocker panels were to ship "tomorrow at the latest". This was in EARLY Dec! I've gotten nothing in return since then.

I'm glad Randy and Matt appear to be finally getting their, but WTF is up with this guy just ignoring me!

I was the guy who almost took the mirrors too!!! Glad I didnt take the hatch. I called him about 5 mins after I saw the posting. I guess I should have been leary since he didnt take anything but cash but for 50.00 I figured I couldnt lose!

Yeah, $50 is definately not bad. I am just going to have to shell out $200 for them on this group buy thats going on.

I am going to have to do the same for the mirrors so dont feel too bad! Since he included the lock cylinders they are essentially free, the cylinders will sell for more than 50 dollars.

Hello All,

I received my 6 speed transmission with the Quaffe (sp) differential in it yesterday.
I checked the number on it:
G944001 006240

Called Porsche and they said it was a 6 speed WITHOUT LSD!

I called Michael, he said "Oh yeah, it does not have a Quaffe LSD", "But I took it too a shop and they said it was a factory LSD and there was nothing wrong with it".

I told him I was going to take it to my mechanic and have him check it out.
He said to call him back and let him know, and we would settle things up.

I did turn one of the flanges, and the other side flange turns in the same direction. I tried to stop it while turning the other, but could not stop it.
I was told this seems to indicate a LSD??

Well, I took the transmission apart and the diff out.

He said he is still working on taking parts out, packaging, and shipping.
He mentioned the back hatch was next.
He probably has caller ID, and selects when he wants to answer.
