Default I am on the dyno with my Link on Sat!

Has anyone got advice for the dyno session in terms of timing, incrementing the boost, and a/f ratios through the rev/load range? I know at WOT around 12.3ish about what about the rest...

Superjet, now is the time if you can give me the timing values you said you could send through!

I am guessing 14.7 on cruise also. What interests me is the point from 14.7 to 12ish, is it linear with rpm on WOT and come to the ratio of 12ish at full boost?

Can't speak to timing values cause I never changed mine, but I did learn a couple of things tuning the Link with OZ951 (see his Link tuning guide if you haven't looked at it yet).

- Take notes. Note what you change, what zone you change, what the A/F ratio was before and after the change, etc... You can't take enough notes - trust me.
- Video or log the run if you can. Sometimes the zones flash by a lot faster than you can read them and it may transition through a zone without you really seeing it too well. Nice to be able to log the runs using serial link if you can.
- Make sure the dyno has a big honking fan pointed at the front of your car for at least a little airflow across the intercooler. Some folks spray theirs down with a water mist between runs.
- Save changes once you make them. Nothing will tick you off like making a bunch of changes and then having the car die and you lose those changes.
- Be careful adjusting the boost. Ratios that look okay can get off in a hurry when you start upping the boost.
- Make small changes, check, and then adjust.

Fosters is from Aussie, "G"uiness from Ireland. You will get Export Gold from here... I was in at Link NZ for a while today, they are moving into a very cool new premises, ask Phil about it next time you chat. Did you go to Birmingham as well?

I would appreciate any data you can give me. What values are you using for boost on a stock gate? 3 sens and 48 base? No hold?

Phil was talking about the motorshow. Said it was amazing, I saw some pics, looked pretty huge. Walter from Link set up that boost control, but it needs more work as does the timing and I dont like to bother them too much...

Do they sell direct to you or do you have to go states for your Link stuff?
