I am not running nology wires, just the coil. I am running King wires, they have made no noticable difference, they were just cheap at the time and I was not thinking of doing all these mods. I have heard so many bad things about the wires I have been put off. I would consider them given a technical and practical perspective on it. Superjet, start a group buy for the Link, I feel lonely.

NZ951,

Did you use the factory Wastegate Solenoid, or the Link one?

Nippon Denso unit. Its an integral orientated unit to work with the config of our stock wastegates... tricky eh!

Thanks for the file!
I see that you ramp boost up a few psi and keep timing at about 20 degrees to the red line. Did you keep boost a bit lower in the low/mid range to counter act knock?

With my turbo, I can run timing up to about 24 degrees between 4-6,000 rpm for great top end torque at 15psi. I guess with your K26, 20 degrees is as much as you want to go. My knock numbers come out very similar to yours. I plotted a lot of datalogged runs (engine noise V RPM) to get a noise signature, its reassuring to see they come out similar.

Once you get a better turbo on, I think you can optimize the timingfurther. I am real excited to see what my car can turn out with a T04E, big injectors and Link 2 after seeing your numbers, 315 rwhp is amazing for your set up.....Gotta love the Link 2!

The boost ramps up so I can have boost come on quickly and not overshoot if I do low rpm WOT in 3-4 gear. The boost control takes a bit of tuning because if has so many adjustments. I need a Tial badly.

By the way, my knock figures are overestimated, in reality now it is far less, I could not get knock if I tried, never goes above 40 and never more than 10 from one point to the next. This is in comparison to before when I could hit late 80's and more easily... and I was running mostly fat. Timing.

I found that when I get knock, my knock can jump as much as 40 points which is good as it is a definate indication of knock and allows my to set my target values some distance away to prevent false knock retard.

Superjet, have you seen the need to go with bigger injectors when going sequential to maintain the same power levels??

I remember Huntley were quoting a couple of hundred for a sequential sensor, I wonder what their part was like?? Have you got any photos of yours?? I gues it is the same as the PD one right?
