The USB connections in the cigarette lighter are just for charging. I found the USB adapter online.
The USB connection in the console will be hooked up to an Android radio with touchscreen. I made that by joining a stock blanking plate with an USB cable.

Perfection as usual. It's like watching a new car being assembled. Cup I wheels are a nice touch!

It is a PWR oil cooler with a custom bracket. Only part missing is a mesh to prevent parts to damage the cooler.
The transmission has been rebuilded by Tonnie Vos gearbox services which is a Porsche/VW transmission specialist. The 5th gear is larger. The oil coiler connections on the transmission have been modified to allow a ANP type connection. The oil cooler hoses are also custom made.

Haha, just for balance! The car is on a 2 column car lift. I had to put something in the front to balance out the weight.
I was planning on a LS3 conversion, but I'm pretty sure it will become a 3.0 liter (sleeved) "stock" Turbo engine.

You will have to start out with removing/flattening the spare wheel well.
My metal working skills are verty limited, so the bracket is most likely not the most clever design.

I don't expect to be posting updates anytime soon. The next step is getting an engine ready. I'll probably start with selling some not needed organs to fund the new engine ;-)

At first I wanted an LS3 engine, but the better option is a dry sleeved stock engine converted to 3 liter with a fancy head and a high tech turbo. Oh, and of coarse the SFR exhaust headers etc. The stock DME/KLR will be replaced with a stand alone EMS. Probably VEMS.

Frank - how long did it take you to completely strip out the interior to get it prepped for painting?
