Make a thread for it if you do this. I live nearby and would enjoy meeting up with some out-of-town Sharks.

I'll be visiting the Experience center again in early February. Will get to see the "Headstone" they put next to it and send photos of the finished display.

Great exposure for the 928!

Some interesting comments here.

For the moment, I suggest to do two things:
- Inspect the car to know what is original and what is not.
- Try to get in touch with people involved with the car when it was produced, to help you for the first task. This is the most urgent task, because they are are not getting younger.

Squirrels? Seriously? Squirrels?

Mice I can understand. Rain, rust and mold? No problem. Even moose (meece? mouses? meeces? mousies?). But squirrels? How in Jehova's name did squirrels get in there?

Squirrels, pack rats, snakes...all looking for something...
Kevin Lacy and I were checking out an '83 S 5 speed that had been parked in a guy's yard for two+ decades. When we popped the hood, we saw the carcass of a 5' long black snake that had slithered into the intakes (in search of a nice mousy meal no doubt), only to get stuck.

The Experience Center Museum has decided to loop the Rennfilms video on the screen near the car.

You are a genius in your entire approach to this car.

Makes me feel good to see this.

No doubt the ATL shark tank is growing. Would be great if we could get together a meet up even hosting out of town cars.
Going to PCNA is always a good excuse for a trip for all now our community has extra pride seeing ONE on display.
March 12 our local PCA is having a monthly social at 356 restaurant. Would love to see all Atlanta area 928 show up.

I'm glad you mentioned this.. I'm working through my post Amelia Island concours (march 7 8 9 10) schedule now, I must hit south FL and Atlanta before I return to CT. I may be able to attend your social and it would be cool to meet some of the ATL Porsche blood...maybe visit with my car too.

I've put the 3/12 date in my calendar too. If I'm in town that week I may be able to make it too, with the 928.

Mine juxtaposed against #1 would show the complete opposite end of the spectrum - completely original vs modifying every part of the car (roof removed, supercharger added, etc).
