What are the current options for cargo nets?
My original cargo net finally lost its remaining elasticity. Ideally, I'd like to have one that is or looks like the original. But I'd be open to an aftermarket solution, if it works better or is more durable.
What are the current options, by which vendors?

I personally went the cheap route and bought the harbor freight 36x60 inch cargo net. It was like $6 after a coupon.
The 36 inch dimension fits the width of the cargo area nicely but you have to trim the length down to about 24 inches. All in all was about a ten minute project to have it completely installed.

Searched previous RL treads, i can tell you that Roger has got one from a German car really similar to the original, 928intl sometimes has something used... I also know that Woodypeck.com made something with better material, dunno if still in business.

I'm pretty sure Roger carries one that's pretty close.
My memory wants to say it's a BMW product, same size (or at least close enough not to matter).
That may or may not be correct.
Roger is away for a bit, but he's supposed to be back this week.

Hi Nicole,
My original cargo net is similar to yours (elasticity completely gone). As others have mentioned, Roger has a good replacement from BMW (about $75-$79) that fits well and looks good too. It is narrower than the original so it may not accommodate a large load, but it works for smaller items and will hold anything down that can be tucked under it.

My original carpet has slots cut in it to allow access to the tie-down loops. My cheapo imitation carpet piece that's there as a placeholder now has the same slots cut in it.
Not sure why you wouldn't want to put slots similar to the originals in your mats. Without them, the mats sit up on top of the loops and look funny.
