Default Sorento's Dinner

For those of you that sat at my table to the left of the entrance...

First it was great chatting with you. Good company, indeed.

Second, Sorento's screwed up the checks at our table and did not bill us properly for the meal thinking that the bill was already paid. I was only charged for my drinks. If you too were underbilled, you can pay by phone with your credit card.

Their number is 828-898-5214.

And then there was one....

we'll be hitting the road tomorrow and have had a great long weekend as is always the case.

Banner Elk is one of my favorite places and I have 928 Specialists to thank for the years of memories with my kids here.

I hope those that couldn't make it plan to come next year. Jeannie said next year is the 20th Anniversary of 928 Specialists. as a member of this forum, which they sponsor, and a die hard SITM attendee, I hope it is their best year ever.

Wow and thanks is all I can say after attending my first SITM or any 928 gathering. What a great community. So inspiring. I think Dave (Worf) almost has me convinced to pull my engine by myself! Thanks to Jeanie for a great event. She is as smart and hard working as she is lovely! Thinking about Frenzy now.

Well, I guess an extra day of mountain driving left more rubber than intended on the mountain. We've made a pit stop in Savannah for some new rear tires after hydroplaning like crazy on I95....

Always an adventure

Had a blast once again on my birthday weekend. Love all you guys / gals, and of course Dave and Jeanie for making it all possible. 5 years in a row, wow.

Its always great to see everyone, especially Dave and Jeannie. Its hard to believe that this year marked 15 SITM pilgrimages for me. Over the years some have gone, and new people have joined, but the feeling never changes... and putting the Best Western in the rear view always puts a bit of a tear in my eye.

Thanks DR and Jeannie for keeping the family together all these years!

I just called and payed the $25. I had no clue what was going on at the time.
