New To Me '90GT
Yesterday I flew to Northern Virginia to pick up a black on black '90 GT. After 3 months of negotiating with the owner, we agreed on a price and I left Virginia and arrived at my garage at midnight last night. Blackie GT will join '86.5 Blackie and '88 S4 company in my garage. The overall condition mechanically seems to be excellent. Very original survivor with 92K miles. New tires on original D90's (not many choices these day on sizes) T/B water pump completed a month ago along with a lot of little things the seller was bothered about (fuel pumps, cps, fuel gauge send unit all fluids changed). Paint & body OK from 10 feet. I will try to work some magic here.

Hoi, he lived so far out in the mountains, No cellular service, satellite, internet. wasn't all his fault. Was a nice guy and OCD about details. He kept replacing things if something wasn't working. Fuel sender went bad last week and he replaced it over the weekend. He didn't have to do it because I was already scheduled to come yesterday. The ABS light came on on the test drive and he was embarrassed. Driving home it never came back on. Going to check dirty sensors. Got me home. My first with a 5 speed. I likey!

Mike,
If there was no internet, cell coverage or satellite does that mean there are no "boys in blue"? Maybe you should have brought his house as well!
Congrats on the acquisition.
