Edd China is leaving Wheeler Dealers - for all the right reasons.

I agree. Being from America I liked the old format particularity because of how British it was. There was an English charm to how Edd and Mike interacted. That eroded a bit when they came to the States. Plus it was interesting to see the European cars that were never offered in the US. And once they stated paying more than $20K for cars it became less relatable, at least to me.

Ed speaks out about Mike:

Its a real shame. Mike, on the show at least, has always been a major tool, and if I had to guess, he's ok with the sponsor song and dance so long as he gets a (big) paycheck. Edd seems less like he'd care about that sorta thing and I respect him for that.
One of the worst shows is Classic Car Rescue. That dope bernie just screams for 30 minutes for no reason, the other guy says "everything will be fine" and then they have it "appraised" to see if they made money, without actually selling it. What a load of trash that show is.

I am so happy to hear that edd is considering making his own show and staying with his format. Like many others here, I enjoyed edds part of the show and always enjoy his top tips. Hopefully, Edd brings the show back to the UK again as it def had more charm and as someone else said, its cool to see some of the cars that were not offered in the u.s.. I can almost guarantee Mike's show will flop as the format doesn't sound what most people are looking for. As for Edd joining other shows or teams, I hope he doesn't because I think he does just fine by himself. If he does change anything from the original format, I hope they are a little more genuine on what it costs to put these cars back together. I like Mike and think he is quirky at times but I don't think wds will survive without Edd.

Sorry to see Edd go! I did notice the show changing recently so I'm not surprised. It used to feel like hanging out with a man in his shed. Good luck to Edd, I've subscribed to his YT channel!

Three Wheelin'
It's the Lamborghini Urraco they did a while back, they found it in Poland I believe, I also used to own a WD car they did, the blue E-type V12.

Interesting comment from Edd as part of one of the yewtuebe shares, is that the production costs for his repair portion are what seemed to trigger Velocity's desire to change the show format. This is one case where what's shown on the tuebe accurately represents real life. So a decision is made to take out the part of the show that documents the differences between buying the car low and selling it high (or not...). Without that part, it becomes a show about cranking a seller down low, then jacking a buyer up at sale time. Or: The Drama at the Used Car Lot. Or: Look What a Good Car Wash Is Worth!
