Porken that porsche
Started this project to get my 928 a little more get up and go.
Purchased chips for bday present.
Injectors cleaned and rebuilt. That was a waste of money because for just a little more I got a set from 928rus. The new new injectors don't look the same has originals, but seem to work just fine.
If someone needs injectors pm me. A couple are still useable.
MAF rebuilt. That needed to be done reguardless. I think I measured 1000+ ohms when I first did the intake refresh.
'87 FPR care of a Rennlister. Thank you very much. It worked great. Gift in mail to you.
New colder plugs
First impression is great. Throttle response is excellent in comparison. I like the higher idle in the automatic for brakes and off light acceleration. While mine still isn't a rocket through 3-3500 rpm, it's a stronger pull through those 500rpm. 60 mph came much quicker too!
now where to find another 100hp....

One more thing to check to be sure...I have done all this to my car...and have discovered that my O2 sensor was pretty much shot and not only was it drinking fuel it drove like it was under water...
I disconnected it and hot rod tuned it with the MAF Pot..another O2 sensor is on the way for me...if yours are old might be worth looking into...the car runs better properly mixed.

Porken chips.
My 85 s3 came with the chips already installed, make sure that you have the I believe it's the green wire or brown wire , disconnected at the computer this will allow for more power due to the octane rating in the fuel, so good gas unplug the wire low grade octane keep wire connected, car is much more fun to d4ive when chipped properly and run on VP 100 OCTANE.

Do you have an X pipe and Hi-flow CATS (or CAT delete)?
Also may want to borrow an AFR gauge w/ a wide band O2 and see what the numbers are, easy with an X pipe to add another O2.
It's odd that it is flat before 3k RPM, is this an Auto?

I just put Porken chips in. Not sure what shape my MAF is in. I don't see the low octane wire hanging down like in the write up. I had 87 Octane in tank at time of install next tank was 89' as recommended. I don't remember his instructions about the wire, may have to reread or email Ken.
My wrench is cleaning up injectors and replacing seals/o rings. Also he replaced CPS and sorted out vacuum lines. Was running good before, I'm expecting it to be even better.
Next up, X pipe and testing of MAF.
