Please understand many of our parts are custom. I would have no such problems at all if all we did was resell Porsche parts like others do. You need to understand "custom" and like always, strictly adhere to the specifications we set forth for any of our parts.

You are dodging some important questions.

Did YOU buy them from MSDS or where did you get them?
How old are those headers?
What is the year of your car?

 

The important question YOU are avoiding is:

"Yes, Mr. Customer, when can I provide a shipping label to return the product for a full refund?"

THAT, carl, is the only important question YOU should be asking.

I am not dodging anything, and the fact that you, from a vendor position are going to publicly say stupid, ****-ant things like: "NEXT TIME...." just shows how far this community has allowed this to go, silently, for years.

What is the year of my car? Its an S4.

When will I expect the shipping label to return the part for the full refund?
Why did you just post a completely different picture in an effort to change the product description mid stream?
Why do the pictures show the final section of the X being rewelded in a separate angle right near the header flange?

Paypal has some awesome customer tools for dealing with vendors.

 

No Custom does not mean "Untested, barely engineered" as you always seem to suggest.

 

Quickie update on this so we can close the loop and continue to have this forum be the best original source of info on the Porsche 928.

• I asked for a refund, and was told I would need to pay XX% restocking fee
• I refused to abide.
• I opened a thread and posted pictures of what was going on.
• I decided that since I paid with Paypal, I would actually have some protections against product issues as I was seeing, so I
• Opened a Paypal Dispute
• Carl fought the dispute with Paypal vigorously
• I provided evidence that the product was not fitting for what it stated it would fit for
• I linked the website and provided pictures
• I won the dispute with paypal and was refunded the full cost of the item and shipping charges, which basically paid for me shipping the ill-fitting part back.
• I then bought some stainless wire and made my own part while on my back in the driveway to connect the headers to the stock exhaust for about 100 dollars. But I have a 180mig welder....
• I will probably buy a corvette if Hacker doesn't dissuade me.

Any Corvette C5 and up are excellent cars!

 

First I bought a c7 z51 and then got a 2016 z06. Both m7.

 

I didn't know you got a Z06 - how are you liking it??

Love it. Don’t need man other cars except for if I need more seats.
I find that I drive with just the TC off in the dry. It cuts in really abruptly.
