let's not go there, it can get ugly. I like the 928 and it's perhaps one of the best GT cars comfortable, roomy, heavy just like cayenne but nothing near a sport car.

At one point years ago we wanted to determine which car was more reliable the 928 or the 951, that's it. Should we star a poll?

Why? It wouldn't be scientific. Too many things you can't control for.

My P-cars are like kids, I love them all equally. They each have their own personality & quirky charm and demand attention and money constantly.

My kids are 1973 Carrera RS, 1978 928 Euro and a1987 951. If I'm going on a road trip the 928 is always my first choice, however from my experience, there are only two states of 928 systems, those which are broken and those about to break.I consider her my "special needs" kid. I love her all the more.

I like your honest assessment, it makes perfect sense.

Must be trolling season, and Luis has a few taking the bait.

No really, let's go there. Hey, it's all good. You're a troll, I get it, you get off doing that, so carry on, I guess.

Randy, we go years back and you know my love affair for the 928 and specially my sincere friendship for Brandon, after all just like GJB928 explained the 928 is the special Ed kid of Porsche, not even my own words could have describe it better.

Thank you my friends have a great day, don't forget to take care of your special 928.

Truly yours

Lart

In 20 yrs of ownership my 928's have never let me down, ever.
Having said that, I go completely through them and replace any old parts that wear as I would do for any 30 yr old automobile before seeking reliability.
I know some people just don't do that, they fix only what's broken and wait for the next 30 year old part to break, which is silly as the cost in down time, frustration and towing adds up.

What's a 951 ?

Maybe because of non-convicted felons like yourself like to stir the pot and be a dick. Just a guess.
