Was it a Stateside purchase, Stan? I'm hearing that the 'transaxle' cars are now starting to climb in the draft of the insane aircooled 911 prices, particularly in Europe.

I thought that I had spent every dollar I could have with Roger during the refresh of my S4, but I came to the garage one evening to find a puddle of fluid underneath...despite not having run the car in a few weeks. The steering rack just vented itself by sitting there. Roger to the rescue and all's well....but while chatting with Rog, he mentioned that well sorted, good cars are now bringing $40.0K. I said "really? that can't be...".

Clearly, I was wrong. Nice sale Stan.

That little ding when the bids come in, when you are the seller, create a special kind of happiness.

Hey Stan. Did the purchase go though on this ok? I know Jim and Alex had their BaT buyers flake out on them. Hoping that didn't happen in your case.

whoa, that would leave a mark: 5% x $43,400 = $ 2,170 buyers premium if bidder pays going through with the purchase...or not. T

Car got put on a covered truck up in the Huntingdon valley shopping center, at 10 pm ,
then it was gone.

It got delivered to a Porsche dealer in WI for a inspection,
since I have never heard a word about the car after the sale,
I have to figure its new owner is happy with the ride Good Luck

Don't know how I missed this sale. Congrats Stan! I also thought the car looked fantastic. The only think I didn't like was the red ignition wires.

For 928s, I have not really see any noticeable differences recently. Several years ago though (2013 - 2016), there was indeed quite a run up. Since then though, it seems to me the market over there has been pretty steady.

Hi Stan,

Wow, I was busy and missed out on this in real time and just now catching up,.... I am speechless man!! I knew this car intimately, Samantha is a long time friend and she even worked and lived with us for a while.

Stan I gotta say, what you did with that Euro is beyond words, kudos to you Sir! It is absolutely Beautiful! I hope someday I get to see it again in person!.

You deserved every dime you got for it, but WOW, even you had to be surprised! I love it!!

Happy Sunday to you,

Dave
