That's unfortunate. There are 4 928s in that picture, including a possible Weissach. I'm sure a couple running examples could be assembled.

I see three in the foreground, next to the 944, and a red one in the background. Which did I miss? Is there another to the left of the background, obscured by the trees?

The third picture in the ad has a lone black car....but in the pic posted only 4 cars visable. I too mistaked the 944 at first quick glance of the pic.

I think the solution is for someone in the SE to purchase the entire lot of them and as suggested see what can be combined to make 2 or 3 decent ones and part out what remains. But silly to see them just die like that.

I thought I was so clever spotting the 5th 928. I mistook the 944 for a 928 as well. Not so clever after all

It's back.....this time at no reserve. Note what Longrunner has stated regarding this OB: Tony, I dealt with this Dirt bag on a 1990 GT I had for sale. He" tried" to pull a fast one on me.He has burnt a lot of people in the past, he is also banned from BAT." Hoi, Nate and others also know of this fraudulent seller. Misrepresented ODO, etc. T

interesting how the service records seem to show mileage consistent with the stated mileage. wonder how hard it is to make a stamp?

update:

Just went to see the grey ebay car I posted.

Its an honest car.. been repainted.. interior is about a 6 out of 10.. everything works. Seller was really honest about its history

some oil type of leak underneath..

He has another blue 5 spd car that runs well, belts done, but has electrical issues.

you can find it here. really good buy imho

Silver 1978 / Ebay seller: *porsche911r*

Well, that's pretty much a contradiction in terms: a "NO RESERVE" auction where you have to get permission to bid.

So you check the amount of every bid, before you let someone bid, right? Or, do I just not understand the subtleties of eBay?

VIN number is posted, so what is the complaining about?
