.... You could get that $7,500 CT OB into better shape for less money by dropping it off with Stan or Sean for a while.
Hmm; not sure I agree with that Shawn. the CT car needs a full respray, plus a fair amount on interior tweaking, and that's before you ever get to that engine bay, which looks pretty rough.
This might be nice to look into further considering the price. 5-speed, nice looking respray (what color is that?), no rubs. Can't tell if there is a sunroof or not. What's up with that tail pipe? SBC swap may be lurking.
I’m willing to bet that MWs three are already sold, as he usually keeps them on eBay when they are still available. I think he sometimes keeps the nicer ones on his site to generate interest from potential clients.

You think the CT car needs more than $33,000 worth of work?
Cool color, but the respray is very suspect. Note, the bumper beading has been sprayed.
I did notice that. And they painted the bumperettes. But it looks good in this picture, which doesn't mean much. This ad embodies a CL pet peeve I have. CL allows you 24 pictures! I just don't understand when people put a car up for sale and snap like 3 or 4 pics.

Depends on where you want to take it of course. You could easily spend that much on bodywork and a high end paint job. I've never priced it out but I thought I remember reading around here that a glass out paint job starts around $15K for these cars. Once you add in all the worn out bits you are bound to come across in that car, and especially if you pay someone to fix them, you could easily be north of $33K. But once you do, you are right, you would have a car in nicer condition than the BaT car.
Seems reasonably priced for a "claimed" well maintained S4 AT. Even has the jump post cover...imagine that!
Pretty sure this car belonged to granprixweiss928. So the mechanicals are sure to be in tip top shape. Think he sold it several years ago though, so a few things may have slipped since then.

Yes, maybe the same seller now was trying to sell it on FB (in the $8ks) and I'm not sure what the outcome was. Looks very nice for the asking. GPW928 stated that he did a complete engine out reseal just a couple of years ago.

I have seen him keep cars up on ebay before but I didn't see them on ebay he has them listed on his website asking $139k for low mile 5 speeds. Not sure how many will bite at those prices but who knows.

I do Shawn. A proper paint with glass out will be $15k+. also, pulling that motor, plating the bits, doing the head gasket, refreshing all the rubber etc will be another $10 k plus, the interior and finding the Nola stuff will e very time consuming. This is just to get it into the shape of the BaT 79. A proper concours resto is well into 6 figures and at least a year.

Send it my way I have access to a top notch shop that can do the work for a lot less.
It's back! The one with the crazy speakers EVERYWHERE! It will need new door panels and rear quarter panels to rid of them. This was for sale from a dealer for a quite few months last year and it's back on ebay from private seller. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1980-Porsch...FaBx5a&vxp=mtr
Shame, shame, shame.
Euro twin dizzy with sports seats completely ruined from neglect.
Owner is delusional in asking for $3500 without a title! Maybe pay me $500 to take it away. https://pensacola.craigslist.org/cto...383909388.html
