Just found out the car doesn't run and is currently parked in a public garage owned by the owner. Can someone PM me with more info if you have indeed seen this car recently?

Trying to avoid driving 8 hrs round trip to find the car in much less than advertised condition, since I have to arrange for childcare and all.

yikes - he must not want to sell the car. I am always astounded at how people can throw really crappy pictures up on a for sale item and have any expectation of success. That communicates carelessness of such a high order, which would leave me to believe hat is how the car was taken car of too.
You can one chance to make a first impression.

Certainly a pretty car. Paint looks and reads like they did it right. Nice cadmium re-plating done. Interior looks fresh too.... but damn, that is a strong asking price for a car with that many km's/miles.

The poster does reference a better condition 1978....
