Bring it on!

^^^ $189K Canadian so about $152K US. That would be a record I believe.

Edit: Ad says price in USD. Ouch. Ok ask what you want but how in the heck is that a "good" price as is stated in bold green.

autotrader.ca uses data to determine the average selling prices. I'm gusing their system has no data for a 95, hence the "good price" appearing in the ad.

The same dealer has a 91 GT with 100k km's for 55k CDN. Someone there likes 928's.

The ad also said the mileage is in KM but the shot of the odo shows miles? Shouldn't that say KM?

Maybe other "typos" in the ad and the price is really CDN.

Ad lies. Since when are there only 13 5-speed GTSs in NA?

I don't care about the market, I care about the cars and those who enjoy them. Other than some exclusivity - one of 6 manuals imported to the U.S. that year - there's nothing that makes the experience of owning or driving this Shark many multiples better than the typical BaT Shark selling in the low-20s.

Yon't have to "care" but the market is what it is. Not all that long ago you could have picked up a low mileage, collector grade 993 Turbo all day long for under $100k. Now they start at $150k and shoot over $200k pretty easily.

There really isn't any reason that I can think of why a super low mileage, GTS 5-speed (especially a 95) shouldn't be worth significantly more than other 928's.

Is an L88 1969 Corvette in any way "better" than a 2017 ZO6? Nope, but they are worth 5 times more $$$.

As for the "experience" - that differs for from person to person. I know people who get a lot of pleasure owning the rarest and cleanest of whatever year / make / model they desire, with very few intentions of actually driving them.

Does this price seem a bit on the steep side? Absolutely, but I still don't think an uber rare GTS should be worth anywhere close to your "typical" 928, or even a similar GTS with 5x's the mileage.

Maybe only 13 95's in Canada. But it's a US car???

Anyways this dealer is just like the rest, all lies. We inquired about the GT they have and first they said it was sold pending a PPI, then the story changed that it was on hold for a customer, then they said that the customer decided on a 930.

All ads from Auto Trader.ca are in KMs.

This is a US car as none was sent to Canada in '95 if I remember well. Only 2 '94 GTS were sent here.

Edit: Those numbers are from a post here (from one of our very well informed members!) on 928s produced for the Canadian market.
I have the link at home.
Edit 2: Found the link. A lot of information here on Canadian cars production numbers.

I'd say that the price is in USD...

A VERY exeptional car that, I hope, will sell close to the asking price.

If it doesn't sell now at that price, it will someday.

Stunner on BaT today. Could be lots of reasons. One being a big part of the bidding country is worried about more pressing and critical matters - Texas. Who knows, but the buyer got a great deal.
