WARNING: Stopped by to look at this car in Milwaukee while on a college road trip with my son. Looked and drove like a great car with quite a bit of recent maintenance. Clean current WI title, but the carfax showed a WI salvage title from 1994 that never had carried forward. Seems to have been washed by a dealer back in the day. NMVTIS showed nothing. Found some very poor chassis repair (popcorn welding holding a patch on the rail just forward of the lower control arm and some cracked metal at the bottom of the radiator and more hack welding. Be aware if you are thinking about. Could still be of interest if you want to fix the crappy welding. Seller didn't seem to know any of this but does now. He is willing to accept much lower than his asking. I passsd at $6700.

Thanks for the heads up Dennis. Would be great for someone interested in a car to just drive the heck out of it or a track car and not worry about resell value or collectibility. 86 or 86.5? Decent interior. <$7000 for a 5 spd 86? Even better if 86.5.

Hi - yes, I forgot to mention. 86.5 5-speed, one of the last 30 or so. Very good interior, near perfect dash, good paint and body. Also has a recent clutch, timing belt, intake reseal, new tires, fuel hoses, etc. If I didn't have so many fun cars right now, I would have bought it to just drive the snot out of it. So, if someone wants a fun (maybe the most fun) 928 to drive with abandon, this could offer a pretty high smile to dollar ratio.

HEY new member here, after seeing this thread I had to join-that is the car in my garage right now!
-I have to say this is a decent S4, with a excellent history once you researched it. Looks a lot better with some TLC given to it over the past month, and everything works now-except AC will get it there though! No games or tricks -legit sale as well!

Great! Glad it's in good hands. How far from Saratoga are you? You'll want to post a good introduction to yourself and your car in a new thread. With pictures (of the car) (I think you have be a paid member). You'll be wise to put a jump post cover on it first, or shoot carefully.
