Correct. And therefore, ebay Motors bids for autos is not binding.

Speaking of BAT auctions - I'm still waiting for my buyer to show with the cash. Was supposed to be picking the car up last Thursday - Apparently now going to be next Wednesday.

Hi giddyup - a buyer with the same name "InDaHills" didnt follow through on an eBay car sale with me a little over a year ago. It might be the same guy (claims to be a Southern Cal resident and porsche 930 owner). Coincidentally I was selling my 86.5 928 5-spd. Just wanted to share that with you in case it's helpful. Hopefully all goes well for you. I love your car!

InDaHills has 40 cars bid on since last August. I certainly hope there is a little better follow through this time. Buyers remorse is one thing but.......giddyup's car doesn't look like one that would cause undo concern. It was presented well and true from my perspective.

Most of his bids didn't appear to be serious bids ... just the usual $x,928 on 928 cars and other seemingly shill bids. Many of his questions were the same tedious question over and over. He bid on my cars, and Hoi's Weissach and a bunch of others.

Not to promote a conspiracy theory, but InDaHills is currently bidding on a BaT Alfa which happens to end on Wednesday. Hope giddyup's sale closes well.

A friend of mine sold the same car 5 times on eBay, no reserve auctions too. None of the winning bidders came through.

This is the opposite of true. Quality cars are flocking to BAT even if every auction does not complete. Please provide any factual data on BAT's buyers fee being a "joke and refundable".

Sell a well sorted or well described car and keep up with the comments as any involved seller would, and it's the best platform to sell a car right now.

I wish everyday that the winning bidder of my weissach backed out since last December, but his cash came through pretty quickly!

Also, my S4's buyer had been nothing but great to work with since sending money for it last month. Both were sold on BaT. Wouldn't expect that from eBay.

Tony did get his mokka on eBay.

You win some and lose some I guess.

Have bought and sold approx 22-24 cars, trucks, and motorcycles on eBay Motors over the years. Had one issue that was rectified later through eBay. Do like the BAT format and prices that the 928's are bringing.02 T

He has already had to pay BAT the $750 buyers fee and I asked for a $500 deposit. I find it difficult to believe that he will just walk away from the $1250.

I guess we will see what happens on Wednesday

These 'winner didn't come through' horror stories are why I just took a hit of a few $$ and sold my 951 back to the place I bought it from. I just did not want to invest the time or deal with the aggravation. It's a lot easier to let go of and find more of money than it is time.
