Default FS: 2 OEM Belt Tensioners

Timing belt tensioners removed for replacement with PK tensioner. Both would need new seals etc.. Taking offers for one or both.

Removed from '861/2

Removed from 1984 Euro

I took over 40 of them to the metal recycler a couple months back. Couldn't give them away.

I had a feeling they are worth more in the aluminum than anything else. I read some of the debates here OEM vs. PK tensioner and gave me pause that they may be wanted some of our "purists". Maybe I will try eBay which was my first intention.

I seen them on eBay for seemingly large amounts of money... 1300.00 US, etc. Never followed one to sale. More frequently I see guys scrapping them or using them for paperweights...
Let's say it's a buyer's market right now, lol.
But yeah someday they will get hard to find.

$50 is a fair price for a $1,200 part,
Don't scrap them, someone will need one., the boot alone is about 20.

The boot is $23.00 new, how do you figure that a used one is worth that much?

I thought it looked like a new boot in the pic, maybe just cleaned up very well then?
