Hey Guys,
There is an '83 928S with a beige Pasha interior for sale down here in Houston.

No affiliation...just thought I would pass it on to those interested in a very interesting build.

Looks familiar - should be a 300HP - Looks to be in good condition - someone needs to snap that up.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

It's being looked at. Appearantly it came from Dallas recently. I may go take a look in the next few days, not for myself, but for another RL'er. I already have too many (anyone want a nice black/black 82 auto?)

I smell scam when someone puts number in and there is a bogus number....car should sell easily for that $$ if real. Really cool if really exists and is for sale.

I took a look at the car today and took it for a spin. The RL'er that asked me to look at the car is passing on it, so I'm posting this info in case anyone else is interested. It sounds like 9k is the bottom line, and it may be worth it, but there are some rough spots.
- Runs good (pulled stronger than my 82)
- Appears to be a 300hp euro
- No noticeable syncro problems (I was only able to drive it slowly in a tight neighborhood)
- Paint looks good overall (it's a respray)
- Seats look good
- Odometer has stopped
- no AC
- Dash and pod have been repaired and it doesn't look great, but maybe better than cracks (see video)
- No noticeable leaks
- Doesn't look like aluminum ball joint carriers have been replaced, but hard to tell for sure without a magnet.
- small starter is installed
