Default rear drag link replacement

Have to replace rear drag links. Looks straight forward and I see nothing in the WSM.

Any gotchas?

Not sure what you are talking about ??? 928s do not have drag links as such. Possibly rear sway bar drop links ?

Rear lower sway bar links that towing companies love to use to move our cars while bending them in the process. 928 International offers these new now.

Yes, sway bar drop links. One is broken at the weld at the upper bushing so replacing both.

Looks like as simple as just taking gout bolts and reinstall new units.

Any shifting when removing making alignment of the through bolt a challenge?

Simple to replace. Unbolt and bolt.

IITROR - Installation Is the Reverse of Removal

Many years ago before Rennlist we only had Haynes Manuals, which always said IITROR.

What the hell? The only thing worth knowing is how to install!

Taking apart a new car, taking a few photos, and pretending that you reassembled it was the ultimate lie.

Lift both sides at the same time or the anti-sway bar will be loaded up. Or do not lift at all.

Carl makes cool looking adjustable ones. I have no need to adjust, but I had to replace and I like the look.

I just get 10mm rod ends and threaded rod and make my own. I'd like to get some aluminum bar stock and make a beefier middle...but I'm too lazy.
