Well, sour grapes here too. I used to subscribe, but lost interest and let it go. They are not very savey marketers, I'd say. I don't care how small the market we represent.

Yeah, probably just as well that we're not in there, they never valued the 928, and the recent prices would just guarantee more gnashing of teeth for us. I take it as a sign of exclusivity and pride not to be in it.

LOL, I think probably, ALL of the "Excellence" staff secretly drive 928s, exclusively, and they are conspiring to keep the 928 prices LOW ! They only want us to think they all drive a Prius.

In another world, another journalist who I think may be a freelancer now, wrote a "top 10" piece for the worst 10 of that marque. Funny thing is, the guy physically would not be comfortable in ANY sports car, and yet criticized many of them for their features and attributes.

Now that guy has a very unique name, and I used to read his stuff in another magazine when he was a staffer. Since that was the same era of the car(s) he criticized, I really wonder how many of those cars he ACTUALLY DROVE :roll eyes:

As I suspect with many, they hear things, and then write. No time to gather actual facts, or access to the cars.
