I use Astroglide. I was, however, thinking that something specific to the purpose might be better.

KY, Astroglide, and most likely P80 are glycerin-based. Glycerine is nice and slippery and after a while gets absorbed by the rubber. That's why it works so well and why in ancient times (i.e. last century) it was the lube and reconditioner of choice. However, its a food source for tiny criters unless there are some additional chemicals mixed in (that I don't think one would want in their personal lubricant.)

Got both the upper window seals installed... much easier than the lower window seals. If you think you're using too much lube... add some more! Upper and lower seals in, little black window vibration dampers in, and front / rear door jam felts in...

KY is methyl cellulose, did some google and its not very good outside of body temperatures, plus other stuff seems even more slippery.

I could be wrong, but I think the P-80 is completely different, but what I saw of the MSDS wasn't very revealing. I asked some questions of the vendor, so maybe eventually know more.

Harbor Freight sells velcro strip by the 35 ft roll. I've found dozens of uses for it. Cheap, too.

Velcro comes in very handy with interior wiring bundles, door seals... you name it! Thank for the tip - it helped immensely.
