Default fuel rails

Anybody have fuel rails for an 87 86.5 ,88 for a good price??? also question when changing head gaskets on a 928 after cleaning surfaces well does anybody use anything between the gasket and head or block??? thank you very very also bearings for an 86 transmission? thanks,Ray

I have a set of fuel rails from an 87 I'd sell, im not sure what they go for these days so feel free to make an offer.

And FYI, 86.5 won't work for an S4, the 85/86 & 86.5 are all the same.

And 87 are different from '88 in terms of how they mount on the intake. What motor are these rails going on?

I don't recall a difference between 87 and 88.

85-86.5 are indeed different.

I'm a little confused on when the change was, it may only be early '87, which used rubber isolators on the intake mounting points, and shorter mounting 'legs' on the rails. Not exactly sure when the changeover happened in/after 1987.

i used that cooper colored Permitex gasket spray. no issues.

Thanks to you both. Rob that is how i have always done it on american autos but knowing these cars i was am unsure. well I guess i am sure now but what quacker said might make sense if there were spots one was unsure of no? I never had trouble in the past but i am looking at this motor and wondering what could go wrong.
