I never pull any Magnus Walker antics,

This all took place in a 100% commercially zoned location [really no BS]
I'm very familiar with the area it was right near Edgmont CC.
No Kids on bikes, No Pedestrians, No cross walks, only danger could be deer at night. No intersections between lights. Someone local can back me up on this.

I always drive my R umm, Modified to be lighter and more driver focused model year 1983 928S [new name] carefully and try an respect others.
It's how one should Always pilot a Porsche. Not kidding.

I can back Matt up regarding the roads that he was on. Pretty remote area with long straights and curves. No real acute dips and elevations. You can see 1/4 mile ahead without obstructions easily. Great driving road, that 926 (road name) in that area. All farms just ~10-20 yrs ago between West Chester and Newtown Square.

I've seen Matt's car up close a few times. It is likely the best/only example of an RS 928 concept and execution you can find anywhere. The details are impressive. More importantly, Matt has put a lot of time and effort into creating it and he enjoys it. The decals probably are what poked the ego of the Bimmer driver. He likely assumed it was just stickers...adding to his frustration when he couldn't dust Matt.

Randy, you purposely removed [:] between 2013 and 928 RS Carrera and the word PROJECT

The signature means that in 2013, it was a project car that i completed. But you know that.

You and IMO000 are dicks.

Oh and Randy since I now think you're a dick, nice move insulting Pete Stout Editor of Panorama Magazne after including a terrific story on a 928.
Classy move dick and way to Represent Us.

Thanks Hoi and Jon.-Matt

Well, I could see that coming.

Let me just say up front I'm biased. I think there are two kinds of people on the forum: those who want to share their collective knowledge and help others -- and those that don't.

Matt's the type of guy that has always offered to help me, and even ship his own tools to me for a project. And that was before he even knew me.

What have you been bringing to the table Imo?

Randy, my impression is that you are one of the founding fathers of the brotherhood, for that you have my respect. But honestly, all I've seen in the time I've been around are chip shots. I'm assuming a portion of your 27,000 posts are positive right?

^^^ You are too new to RL to know what I "brought" to this forum over the years. Use the search feature and find the threads I started or still have going and THEN make a judgement . By the way, I saw The RS in person too. Someone that is willing to drive hours to get into a fistfight is a psychopath in my book and I wasn't going "introduce" myself to him when I saw the car.

Seasonal depression.....holiday anxiety.... ????
What's upnwith all the negative vibes here.
I know posting has been slow but come on guys......

I really don't think this guys deserves this over this post.
Unless something else has happened that i am unaware of....this seems undeserved.

I think his concept is cool....he can call it whatever he wants... So what if he got into it with a new BMW... We have these posts all the time here and they don't get this kind of response.

Can't we all just get along...lol.....

Yardpro, I hear you but there is more to this that set me off.

I had been working all day in the shop on an old Porsche.

I was in no mood to respond to these A-holes in a civil manner. I've tried that.

RE IMO000, he's always like this and i've accepted I'm not going to change him. He's a few sandwiches short of a picnic I think.

But RE Randy V: I've always been a fan and respectful to Randy and had just pm'd Randy not less than a week ago.
That was a dick move above he pulled. That's the kind of guy he is i guess. I don't waste time with people like this.

And to Big Dave, thanks for the words. Ditto brother.

Nahhh man, I'm way passed the picnic. But if posting PMs would be allowed, others would see who you really are too. No amount of fabricating tallent will change my opinion of you. I saw what you really are a couple years ago in those PMs.
