No worries, Pete.

This Fixer jackhole is just looking to cause trouble where none exists.

Right Randy, you had no idea who Pete Stout is. You're hardly on rennlist and very, very new to Porsche ownership.
BTW Randy, for all the men named Jack out there, the term jackhole might be just a little offensive. You calling me this is laughable. You're the trouble maker Randy.
Signing off on you now Randy, so have the last word. I'm sure you'll have to.

THAT is what started all of this between you two?????

I've been a PCA member (off and on) since the early 90's, I still have every Panorama ever sent to me and I had no idea who Pete Stout was (sorry Pete, love the magazine....). Sure the name sounded familiar, I couldn't have placed from where or how I knew it.

In all my years of reading every possible car magazine on the planet, the only magazine editor / author I would recognize is Peter Eagan, and that's probably because I've spoken to him many times in person at Road America / Elkhart Lake.

Haha, no apology necessary. Whatsoever.

It was only when I decided to get into the business that I started tracking bylines or caring about who was writing. Everyone has their own preferences, but I feel the best car writers are like the best sound board operators: If they've done their job correctly, you never notice them—they simply "take you there." Some, like Egan, are exemplary for a long enough period that it's eventually impossible to miss their name—but that doesn't change them or the way they write.

Of course, there are a lot of people who like gonzo journalism. It has its place, but it isn't my favorite.

As for whatever this other goo is that I've been mixed up in, I want no part of it, and encourage relevant parties to get together for a beer and/or a rumbly burnout (but not in that order!).

It is as far as I'm concerned. I've had no prior interaction with this guy until he called me a 'dick' then accused me of insulting Pete.

Randy, About a year ago you were having trouble with your instrument cluster. IIRC, one of your gauges was not working correctly..

I had a brand new printed circuit and offered it to you free to test with.
Remember that interaction?

That's how this forum is supposed to work. It's supposed to be constructive, helpful and hopefully interesting. Your comments lately are none of these.

One week before your bizarre post in my thread, https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-bmw-335i.html I pm'd you in a very friendly manner regarding the smart aleck post about Pete, Do you remember that interaction? You replied. Remember what you wrote?? There have been more interactions, an on my side always polite.

Then your post in my thread above. What was the point? What did that add? Wasn't funny by any measure..You, imho, are the trouble maker Randy. Same for the other guy involved. Simply miserable people.

I'm traveling all weekend with the family. Going to buy Porsche parts for my '68 swb car. Have your fun calling me whatever kind of hole you'd like, but remember, it was you that took the gloves off first.

Great 928 piece Pete, well written and the pictures were top shelf as usual.

Not anymore, time to stop the bleeding.

No idea what is really going on between you three, keep it offline.
