Default Jus Bought A 90 S4

Hey All,

Just bought a 90 S4. GP Weiss with Dunkelblau trim. Going to drive it from Sydney back home to Adelaide. I'll take pics of the journey. I'll be taking the long way which will work out faster because there will be less traffic and police, and I will be able to get on it. Normally a 15hr drive, I hope to do it in 10-11hrs.

Please do not exceed local speed limits, as that might be unsafe.

Car made the journey well. No major problems. Has an oil leak that will need attending to but other than that all good.

First fuel stop. Wifey's turn to drive

Nice purchase! What's the "long way"....via Broken Hill or is that the ridiculously long way? Watch those roos....they have harder heads than any animal on earth....! My cayenne knows this for a fact.

We actually drove from Sydney to Wodonga and spent the night with the in laws. Then we go back via Deniliquin, Ouyen. Roads are barely used. Did not see one police car from Wodonga to Tailem Bend. Missed one Roo. Luckily.

Yes but how many saw you [that's what counts]?

Think on the positive side- you are better off hitting a Roo than a camel!

Well done- wishing you many happy hours of not too expensive ownership. Presumably you have done your homework and know what issues to look for/take care of. If not holler and we will help you.

Rgds

Fair Dinkum Sport!

5 928's?- you must be a glutton for punishment. Did you wreck them on the track, file for bankruptcy [4 times], sell them to a mug or a combination of the above?

Oh man, that's not normal. I believe that's an addiction. You should talk to someone.

All good cars. Fixed a few things enjoyed them for a while and moved them on. Pics here https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...l#post12680789. I've had a couple of 951's a 951S, 930, 996, Boxster etc but I'm always drawn back to 928's.
