Wicked Pissah thread (as they'd say back where I used to live in MA) (aka Awesome, Fantastic, Couldn't Have Been Better).

I am a new 928S owner and haven't even finished setting up my profile. I have been reading and reading everything I can find on 928's in Rennlist for a couple months. My car was abused by the previous owner but I have high hopes I will restore it to better than new (with all your support of course).

The list at the top of this thread was Wicked Pissah - from what I learned while restoring car some of the points were already familiar. The rest I am taking note of 'cause I am sure I will be experiencing them in the near future.

all of the above plus: You keep copies of "928 Data" on several hard drives so if one drive crashes, you don't loose everything. You have a USB memory stick labeled "928 data" so you can access data with your laptop while working on your car. You keep a box of nuts, bolts, brackets, and misc. parts that you took off the car while doing various R&R work 'Just in case'. You have more pictures of 928s in your computer than your dog/cat, wife/girlfriend, or family. You NEVER let the 'valet' park your car.
