Those are 944 engines but this is what a garage looks like. The 928 engines are behind the scooter and stack of tires. I'm gonna get to those pasha seats...someday.

Some machinery in the garage is always handy to have. The big workbench is 7.25 meter or 24 feet long. The small bench where I do dirty work like head porting, welding and grinding is 2.15 meter or seven feet long. You never get too much working space.

That spray foam is the way to go! It will keep you nice and toasty during the winter and cool in the summer.

This inspires me to offer something back to Rennlisters - if anybody is intersted in this type of work I can do all of this easily. I am in the custom millwork business with full CNC and spray room capabilities. Heck if you wanted I can even spray your cabinets to match your car colour (i have done that a couple of times for clients who own prancing horses)

I just finished my garage on a budget:
- Drywall and paint $2K to have it done professionally
- 3/4" rubber gym flooring, $900 ($42 per 4x6 sheet off craigslist)
- $500 Electric space heater install
- $1100 Ikea PAX wardrobe frames and shelving
- $550 Ikea kitchen cabinets and counter top for workbench.

My wide wanted to "upgrade" to a bus-like Yukon Denali XL that doesn't fit lengthwise, so she is in the driveway and my toys get the garage

Not as much room as many. Enough to get most of the work done. Room for two cars. One car rotates to the barn depending on the work.

Garage ****-Broke Redneck Style.

My place serves many purposes...Man Cave, bbq hangout when it rains(all the time), exercise room, storage shed, and occasionally manage to get some work done.

Wow. Some serious garage **** going on here. My garage just got finished. Still looking into lift options, plus haven't transferred all my parts/tools into the new space. But at least the wife is slightly happier with her own spot in our attached garage.
