I would like to thank everyone for their support. After a week long detail on Rogers 928 for Carmel and then scoring a perfect 150 out of 150 on my 911 SC in Houston this weekend, I've decided to to turn my 35 year passion into my new profession!

Just wanted to post some closing notes before the thread is de-topped..

I am continually amazed at the generosity of the 928 community. I went into this with the thought of collecting a few dollars to help offset some of the costs that the participants incurred in getting themselves and their cars to the event.

The contributions came in and kept coming in, and even came in after I closed it out LOL....so again, my thanks to the donors..(you all know who you are)...

When it came time to dole out the funds, I was met with, "I'm fine, just give it to someone who needs it" LOL......You guys were killing me...didn't ever think it would be so hard to give out money haha.

Anyway, after a few emails, and discussions amongst themselves, it was agreed to split all the funds equally and the participants could do with it what they wanted (suggestions were to donate to the concours charity or other charity of their liking).... That's just cool !! Again a testament to those willing to step up, shoulder the burden/cost of getting their 928 to an event that was for the "greater 928 good".

So, thank you donors!.....Thank you participants!!! Thank you organizers!!! and Thank You "928 Community"!!!!!!!!

No doubt in my mind that the 928 Community is the best of the best..

p.s. Keep this event in the back of your mind for the coming year. Before you know it, it will be upon us and give us yet another opportunity to fly the 928 Flag.....
