Default Laguna Seca Race 6-5-15 This weekend!

SCCA is having their big event at the Laguna seca race track. the Pirelli cup porsches will be running, some in the ITE or SP in our group3 race group.

we race on staturday around 11am, so come out if you are near by.
The Porsche racers will be running in a separate group as well, but some will race with us to get more race time.

a few world Challenge Pirelli world challenge Ferrari racers are running as
well.

ill be running the 928 stroker as usual.

Good luck- just watched your clip running Laguna Seca for 6 laps without any brakes!

That place is scary enough with brakes. The two circuits on my bucket list are Spa [Belgium] and Laguna Seca- entering the Corkscrew must be really something just as Eau Rouge at Spa is.

Hey Ed, don't be offering those. I may need them some day!

Good luck Mark!

at 2:45 you see the Pirelli WC GT Ferrari blow on by .

Great race, and a lot of fun as usual at Laguna Seca.

pretty cool that the Pirelli porsches showed up as well. it was pretty funny..... top 10 cars were 2010 to 2015 Porsche cup cars, and then the 30 year old Porsche 928.... then the rest of the field.

the 928 ran flawlessly as usual. brakes are great now..... but seeing some stress cracks with the new rotors... figuring out whats happening there.
otherwise, a great weeknend and finished 1st in a light field ITE. times in the 1:37 again on some pretty badly used tires.

video turned out good best part was the big victory burnout before pit in. rear cam, incar cam and side car cam.

Best part of which vid? The one you posted does not see to have the events you describe.

He was in super production and that put him against the other pirelli cup cars (about 9 of them) then, there was one behind me and then the rest of the other classes.

pretty funny... my car was one of the oldest out there, besides the 71 datsun 240z, mustang and an old 911.

Here is my victory burnout marks next to the BMW coming into the pits. (and some other pics from the weekend)

trying to get the pics smaller in size

I think there might be an issue with the hat and rotor combo.... investigating with manufacturer

Lots of redlining with some rear view cam shots and victory burner at the end.
