Default Upper steering bearing NLA - Anyone sourced a replacement?

Just as the thread title says, is there a replacement for this bearing? The outer race is unusual in that it is actually a cup with a lip that the inner race and ball bearings sit inside. The lip rests on the rim of the steering column to prevent the bearing from getting sucked down into the steering column.

Here's a pic, its the one on the left. (Ignore the sealed bearing on the right).

You can see the steering column in the background and get an idea of how this bearing would seat on the opening of the column.

Maybe possible to reuse the outer race and drop in a "thinner" sealed bearing inside with the same I.D. as the stocker?

Apparently called a "flanged bearing".

Quick search brought up this site. Need to take some measurements, maybe we'll get lucky.

Adam - If you mean 928 347 791 00 - plenty available.
I have two in stock and there are 42 in Germany.

Simard made a beefy top one, and I had drawings (I think here) for the lower bearing and a plastic carrier for it.

The bearing to the right in my OP is the lower bearing. Wasn't planning on replacing it, but will probably do it now. Is there supposed to be a spring between the top of the bearing and the c-clip? It's not in the PET, but in doing a search it looked like someone had one there.

Adam the spring goes on the far side of the lower bearing,
then the shaft is pulled to the rear of the car to preload it,
then the inner collar is placed on the shaft,
then the E clip is installed.

NOTE to pull the shaft,
put the nut on the threads,
then use vicegrips to hold the nut , and pull hard to the rear of the car,

sometimes a helper is good here to place the E clip while pulling
