Empty.
Just getting started.
First time on scales.
No adjustments have been made since I guessed at ride height correction from what is was before I tore into the front suspension.
But I will certainly have a seat at the wheel with the scale readout in my lap before I'm done.

Well it looks like you're off to a great start.

This was my 86 5 with 160# in the driver's seat, but before i installed the supercharger. Guess I need to get it back on the scales and see where it is now.

Default Rim Shots

Not sure how accurate this is, but it looks like only one might be out of spec.
Haven't adjusted anything yet, going to drive it and recheck before adjusting

Default Deja Vu

Oops! How'd that happen? This darn car just keeps taking itself apart.
Found more crusty rubber bits on the floor while checking ride height and alignment so decided to pull these out.
Had I known they were that easy I would have just done them along with the fronts.
At least now I'll know what's in there.

Default Spick And Span

Well maybe not quite spick and span, but as clean as they are going to be.

Default Bumper Crop

Decent price, fast shipping, excellent packaging. Thanks Roger.

And just to show proper orientation of dust cover spacers:

Default Perched

They were about 31 and I set them at 35. That should get it pretty close to spec.
Damper adjustment range was about two and a half full turns and I set them 3/4 turn from full stiff.

Default Keep Your Bird Feeder Clean!

Bird Feeder Brushes. Who knew? I had no idea there was such a thing. Three bucks for the pair at Menard's.

Default Pinned

I doped the bushing innards and the pin and held the cone washers in place while lowering the knuckle. A little jiggling and the pin slide right in.

Default Another Bumper Crop

And fits right in with the recent shock posts.

Thanks Mark.

Another thing to work on instead of driving.
