Default nice low miles 928S4 on copart

No affiliation but seems like nice low miles car. It would make a real nice project for someone.

If the miles are correct (which by vin check, they do look correct) then there are not many more these left.

Interesting that the tow hook is installed above the license plate ... wonder why?

That doesn't look like a 33000 mile engine bay to me. Not the driver seat wear either. But who knows...

Engine bay is dusty, but the silver colour and shiny plating on all the clamps and fuel system supports the mileage.

Driver's seat bolster does have a little wear, but could just have been a complete lack of leather treatment and an owner who slides in/out rather than sits in/out.

Looks genuine miles to me

copart would tow all the cars....even if they are running. So tow hook is no surprise. No cause for concern.

I would be concerned about the complete lack of paint on the intake. Or is that just the picture fooling me? And the air filter is seated upside down

Edit: looks like its just the pic. I withdraw my conclusion

typically cars which get "donated" have some issues which prevents them from being sold.....the actual deduction on any car over $500 is the selling price which the charity must report to the IRS.. so yes you get a deduction but deductions at best save you 50 cents for every dollar of the sales price NOT BOOK VALUE or any other inflated number, that loophole got fixed !!
So if you wish to help a charity you sell the car and then donate cash which is fully a deduction and it avoids all the middlemen fees and straw sales which often take place.
But some people simply do not wish to be bothered and would rather just give it away as it is easy....so yes sometimes you can get lucky

Hard to believe it is sitting there without a bid.

I'm not sure the bidding is open yet. It looks like it will be run through a live auction on Thursday.
That bid button is for live bidding during that auction:
