Someone is rolling the dice fair amount of risk involved in that purchase....considering no test drives allowed and sold as is . But odds are we have not seen the last of that car .

Final bidders were from Utah and California - not sure which state won it.

I think this thread is dying off now, so I hope it's okay to highjack.
Why is the "!" button green, and why does it have an "O" on it..?
That's not the CWL (! light). Not sure what it is.
So I'm still curious about this, and would like to know the answer.
Neither of my S4's have this, so I assume it's a post 88 MY change (?).
Does it basically do the same thing as the "!" button in the earlier cars?
Can someone please shed some further light on this..?
Thanks!

Its a unique-to-89 button.

The green button is the reset button for the trip computers. 1990 onwards have it on the pod instead.

There is no ! button on 89-onwards, as the warning system is integrated with the digital dash, which is controlled by a fourth lever on the steering column, opposite side to the cruise control lever.

Thanks very much for that enlightenment Hilton. I really appreciate it.
All these years, and still learning new details about the nuances of these cars...

Nice car for a cheap price - and yes someone made some money 8>)
He could have replaced the pod and sold it for $25k to $30k
