Disconnected connector coming out of one of the computers
To the right of the CE panel, there are two modules...these are the LH and EZ computers, correct? Not sure which is which, but there is a green wire coming out of the one nearest the CE panel, with a white plastic connector. Then there is a matching white plastic connector, with a green wire, going into the bowels of the car somewhere. They certainly appear like they should be connected, but they're disconnected and there is electrical tape over both ends. Anyone know what this is? It's not super clear, but it's towards the bottom right of the picture below.

It's "not used" factory wiring.
I have it too. Don't worry about it.
I can't remember what it's for. I want to say it's for "low grade fuel" sensor/operation, but I think I'm 'misremembering' that.

Damn, I was hoping for the magical "Make Everything Work" option, or at least the "Re-inflate collapsed motor mount" feature.

There should be two, one on each computer connector, they are taped to the harness from the factory, not hanging lose.
The one on the EZF (not an EZK if this is an 85/86/86.5) is for Spark retard at WOT (an extra -3deg) same circuit as the Temp I in the air box.
The one on the LH is for Fuel Enrichment at WOT, not sure exactly how much.
WOT is defined by the throttle position switch, which has two switches, an Idle switch that is closed at the idle position and opens off idle(cruse), and another switch that closes at approx 3/4 of the way to wide open throttle WOT they change what Map the ECU's use.
I have them both connected to switches on my console so I can make adjustments w/ my N2O system

So what you're saying is I am missing the N20 system? :-D

That's interesting, as the wires for the fuel enrichment on my former 86.5 were brown, and the green one just like the one shown were for the o2 sensor on the cat. I don't have a later model anymore so I can't verify.

On a 32v Car? I've not seen the O2 sensor wire connection over there and also never stated the fuel enrichment was green.
I think you are correct the Fuel is a brown wire and both green and brown have a single "spade" type White connectors.
The O2 is a green wire, however its a shielded wire and connector, and is usually located on the lower Left side of the CE.
The connections we are referring to are directly located on and are part of the two wire harness connectors for the ECU's.

Hmmm...there is also a black plastic connector with red wires visible in the picture. My impression was that the O2 sensor wire was in lower left of the pic here, connected with the big round barrel connector thing that fits together sort of like an antenna connection. Behind that is another plastic connector with brown and blue wires on one side...not sure what that one is either.

OK got it...

you are absolutely correct Dave, and the latest picture shows the o2 green wire and connector right where they should be. I thought the OP's might have been pulled out and relocated the side. I don't recall green wires over there, just brown.
