Accessory belt magic trick
I know there must be one. How the *&^^! do you guys get the belts stretched over the pulleys?! (This is where I show how much of an auto mechanic I really am, I guess). Even with the tension bolts loosened and everything moved to the lowest tension point I can get it, I'm having a terrible time with this. It's embarrassing lol...because I know it's not actually this difficult.

Alt - can get loose enough with normal movement (good because that belt is huge)
AC - just pull the bolt out of the arm and you get easy movement to loose enough.
Airpump - dunno, removed it.
P-steer - yeah, I cut mine off and had to go full loose, new belt, twisted the pump pulley end of it as I brought it on. So put it on the crank end, then starting form the top with the belt "twisted" so the "teeth" pulled it into the V of the p-steer side pulley. It was a PITA but nothing some brute force and bruised fingers can't get.

Rotate the engine (clockwise facing the engine) with your handy 27mm deep socket and roll them on.
Also make sure you have the correct size belt, the P/S pump is 12.5 x 1000 mm. Some of the aftermarket belts are a little wider and don't sit as deeply in the pulleys, which makes the belt tighter.

I think this says 13x1000, so yeah, it is a bit wider I guess. Someone else suggested rolling it on like that as well. I need a couple extra hands I think..
I think now would be a great time to move to all electric accessories lol....

Jim, you are a brilliant, brilliant man. In my head, to walk it on with the crank pulley I was thinking it needed to go over the PS pulley first, which won't work 'cause there's not enough slack...but I did it your way with it fully on the crank pulley, and damned if it didn't walk right on. Now on to the air pump/fan belt...

You should really update your definition of American beer. American != Budweiser/Miller/Coors/Etc any longer. The craft beer industry is alive and well down here! I was drinking a fantastic Bell's Two-Hearted Ale last night that was as American as they come. I've never had anything from the GWN that even comes close, but of course...I'm game to try
