Bumping this thread because I feel like it. The car has been in my possession for 3 months having bugs worked out and I can only say "holy mother of God" this car is fantastic. I've torn the top end down hunting for vac/intake leaks (there were many) and trying to get the car to run as it should. Replaced a bunch of stuff, doinking around with others.
Let me say that now, W/O shartuning, this car is a fvcking beast. Randy (the owner) sent it up here a few months ago to get it sorted. I've got about 400 miles on it now on daily driving and it has given me no issues. The first 200 were not easy, MAF blowing out, plug wires were of **** quality, MAF/TempII harness were crap, O2 was not even plugged in. Various vac issues, crank case breather issues, etc.
Now if I can get the wife to sign off on buying this from Randy...................wow.
The important thing, check the date of the first post.

Now that is Holy Thread Resurrection Batman! Good work though Sean, I am sure the car never hardly ran right from the start but now it will!!!! SA-WEET! Is it actually for sale now that it is going to be running right?

Nice.. glad it wasn't a gratuiutous old thread bump and actually has a good reason for an update.
So you haven't sharktuned the car yet? Should be interesting when you do
Funny - the 90 GT stroker thread made me think of Eric Monk earlier today, with its use of Phil Threshie's pistons. Good to read some of the old drama Things are so tame these days by comparison.

Sitting in my drive way as we speak and I sooooooo want to buy it. Sean has done an awesome job on sorting some of the small issues and she purrs like a kitten and roars like a Lion when needed.
That SC whistle is addictive. Randy you are not getting this one back 8>)

I'll sign off on it for you.
Joe's car was number two on my list when I bought Cameron's car. There was always something about that I was just not sure about though. History, karma or whatever. When I saw it down at OCIC, I was thinking maybe I missed out. Randy was having some minor problems, over heating and idle issues. Seemed like it could be worked out. I'm glad to hear you got it sorted out. That is one Hell of a car. And yes it would look good sitting in my garage.
Can you post up some pictures of the engine bay? I would like to see if you changed any of the plumbing.

Sean,
Nice to hear the "Other" white car is alive. Yes, it was sorted when it left California except for the overheating when pushing it. It actually cooled when it idled. I never got the blow-by and pressurizing the crankcase really solved.
Not sure what SC pulley is on as we changed it to 5.5 psi. You think it's a beast now, install the 11 psi pulley. It's crazy fast and will spin the rears in 3rd gear.
If you have any questions, email me at email@joedyer.com.
Randy - the lawnmower is still in the family. Sweet ride.

Agreed, things around here are much tamer these days....though, slightly less entertaining.
