Default Ham fisted another one.

Ugh.

I was quick changing my fuel dampers and I managed bending the neck of the hard fuel line coming into the front of the forward damper.
It bent slightly, and even bending it back I'm concerned about fatigue. I will replace it rather then worry about it, but maybe somebody can benefit from my mistake down the road.
I had the rail off already and there isn't a lot to stabilize that damper as you wrench.
In short: I suck.

I would take the bracket off the water bridge and just do this all on your bench.

That's my life story when I work on the cars.

Many times it's two steps forward one back.

Dave's just being his modest self, he does excellent work.

That's one of those 20/20 hindsight moments..

Live and learn as my Grandmom always said.

FWIW you can usually counterhold the dampers and B nuts,
then squeeze the wrenches together,
I like to put a lil dab of antiseize on the back of the bulbs and the threads of the connections so the B nuts will not seize

Matt, thanks for the pat on the back.
Yea, it's like that one bad pitch you make, that you wish you could take back...
Just makes me mad. Anyway, the project continues.
I will do that Stan, it was seized pretty good, every thing I could do to get it off, even when it was on the bench.

Been there. Screwed up the line on the fuel filter a long time ago from being ham fisted. Learned the art of counter holding and squeezing the wrenches together. Mopar never did it that way. Haha.
